Officer Adrian Darling has been in Law Enforcement for 24 years. Ofc. Darling began his career as a special Deputy with the Howard County Sheriff Department. Ofc. Darling came to the Knightstown Police Department in 1995. While at the Department he served in every capacity from dispatcher to Chief of police. Ofc. Darling successfully completed the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in 1997. Ofc. Darling was hired by the New Castle Indiana police department in 2003, although remains a part time officer for Knightstown. While still employed full time for NCPD Officer Darling currently serves as the night shift Lieutenant in the patrol division. Officer Darling served 10 years on the SWAT team, dare instructor, ILEA certified training instructor, School Resource Officer, FBI sponsored hostage negotiator, Detective training, and Taser instructor. |
